Dublin: Short Layovers
by hollyGS
We had initially planned on having more than 24 hours in Dublin Ireland to explore, but that time was reduced to 4 hours because WOW airlines cancelled our flight unexpectedly ( I’ll go into detail about what we think about WOW in a later post…). However, because WOW cancelled our flight, we were able to discover that you can see quite a lot in Dublin with only a few hours to spare. Firstly, it is incredibly easy to get into […]

Top 10: Things to do in BEIJING ,CHINA
by hollyGS
I never thought I’d get to explore Asia first hand. As a kid I was completely enthralled by Asian cultures, specifically China. My mom had always been interested in Chinese fabrics, food, music etc. but I assumed that we would be limited to visiting China towns. We found every chance we could to visit China town in Toronto and New York, and that was alright by me. Then, one day I found a flight to Beijing for $800 and I […]

Sofia Bulgaria: Self Guided Walking Tour
by hollyGS
Here is the route we took: We had one short evening to explore Sofia Bulgaria, but tried to make the most of our visit. We stayed at a very Central Hostel, Canape Connection (would totally recommend). The friendly man at the hostel gave us so much information about where to eat and walk, so we set off on our quick adventure! Firstly we walked to Vitosha Blvd., a pedestrian street in the centre of the city with many restaurants and […]

To see the top: Take the Red Hill Valley Parkway to the Mud street exit. turn left on […]

Chasing Waterfalls: Louth Falls

This summer we decided to explore our own backyard, the beautiful Niagara region. This summer we decided to explore our own backyard, the beautiful Niagara region. Having seen so much of the world, it was a nice change of pace to sit back and enjoy the nature that surrounds us at home (much less time spent in an airplane this way!). Swayze falls is never the same twice. We’ve visited Swayze falls three times this year, and have seen the falls in it’s full range. Our first visit was magical, the falls were […]
