Whilst staying in Brasov, we went on an incredible day trip to Bran Castle and Rasnov Citadel. Bran is located about 45 minutes outside of Brasov, by city bus. The Local Bus Terminal in Brasov is located just outside the Old City. For our first full day in Romania we took the train to Brasov Romania, the heart of Transylvania. We started the morning off in Bucharest city centre, and walked rather leisurely across the city towards the main train station, Gara de Nord.
