BUMBLING TOURIST

Quebec City In the Off Season | Artillery Park

Here is a video we made about exploring Artillery Park and the old walls of Quebec City

We woke up later, around 9am after a rough sleep. We made toast with goat cheese and had some apple and banana slices with our coffee before heading out around 10am for our first and only full day in Quebec City. We first walked into the old town through a sketchy area under the highway. The area was weird and industrial, but it was filled with beautiful street art and murals.

We then slowly wound our way around the city walls, and up into the heart of old town Quebec City. We stopped at Hotel Dieu du Quebec, the first Hospital in Canada before visiting Artillery Park. You should not miss Artillery Park if you are visiting Quebec City. The views from this park over the city are stunning. You can see all the way down to the waterfront and the lower city. At Artillery Park, you can walk all along the old city walls and get up close to the cannons with no one around.
