We woke up at 6:00am, in order to have time to eat breakfast on our hotel’s roof top, before catching a taxi to the highway bus station Aung Mingalar. There are quite a few highway bus stations on the outskirts of Yangon, so make sure you are heading to the right one for your bus. Our hotel called a cab for us, and negotiated a rate of 13,000 kyat for the ride.
