Our absolute favourite thing to do when travelling is to wander around and get lost in a city. If there happens to be incredible street art as we get lost in a city, even better. Athens Greece was AMAZING for both getting lost and looking at street art! The best street art we found was in the Plaka and along the walk to Philopappos Hill.

We spent our last full day in Athens wandering around the neighbourhoods we hadn’t yet explored, including the area surrounding Philapappos Hill and Philapappos monument.

There are many small hills in Athens Greece to explore, and we found that the best view of the iconic Acropolis was from the top of Philapappos Hill. From the top of this hill you can also catch a glimpse of the Mediterranean sea!
