Street Art in Central Belfast, Northern Ireland

We weren’t quite sure what to expect from Belfast Northern Ireland. We knew it was a good jumping off point from which to see Giant’s Causeway and the Dark Hedges, but we never imagined how amazing the street art in down town Belfast would be.

We knew of the street art surrounding the peace walls and the divide between the Loyalists and Republicans, but a lot of the street art in that area was heavy (whilst still beautiful), and a bit difficult to fully enjoy without the cloud of significance surrounding them. So it was refreshing to stumble upon such a colourful and vibrant area of street art in the down town core.
