After getting settled in our room, we walked just down the street a little to a shop where we bought some band-aids, nail trimmers, beer, coffee for the morning and some snacks.. you know, the essentials. We then walked to a little restaurant with a rooftop seating area and had some early dinner. Jives ordered pizza with fish, pineapple, mushrooms and onion and I had a tempe satay with rice and a delicious peanut butter satay sauce.

We then walked back to our room and then went to the restaurant at our hotel to have a beer overlooking the ocean. We talked to the two nice server guys as we enjoyed our beers. The one guy was a photographer and wanted to talk about cameras and the other guy was really nice and encouraged me to learn to scuba dive, which I would totally love to do.

We walked our beers down to the bar when we were done and the guy said we didn’t have to, so I offered to put them back… he laughed. We then sat on the chairs by our room’s door and had some snacks while listening to some music, before heading to bed at 9:00pm.
