I woke up to a gorgeous sunrise over the Areguling bay. The tide was fully out and I could see people walking around on the sand. We had breakfast at about 8 am. I had fried rice with egg and Jives had an omelette with veggies in it. Both breakfasts came with coffee.

We then packed up our backpack with towels, water, sunscreen, snorkels and our books and set off to the beach. We sat at the end of the beach near the rocks as it was high tide by the time we made our way down to the water.

We then set out in our snorkels to see what we could find just off the shore. We saw a few yellow and black fish around the rocks and lots of shells and some seaweed. It was so easy to float in the super salty ocean. I could have snorkeled for hours.

We went back to shore and read our books for a while before heading back out to snorkel again! It was so much fun! We met a fellow who asked how much we paid for our snorkels, he was very friendly. At around 2:30 we left the beach and headed back to our hotel in search of food. Along the way Jives bought me a bag of chips to have.

We sat on our chairs outside our room and ate the chips before going to the pool briefly to read. At 6pm we went to the reception/ food area and had a water spinach dish that the hotel cook had promised to make. He had gone and specifically bought the water spinach just for Jives to try the dish. The dish had a red curry sauce on top and came with rice. I had fried rice with egg. We sat for quite awhile watching the sun set and ate our dinner.
