BUMBLING TOURIST

Hanoi and Hoi An, Vietnam

We spent the majority of our time in Hoi An eating.

Vietnam Day 4: Hoi An

First thing in the morning, right after breakfast, we were picked up by a cab and went straight to the airport. Our flight had been cancelled by JetStar the night before… and so our hatred of JetStar continued.  We were unable to re schedule our flight online, so we played dumb at the airport, and were able to get on a flight that left only an hour later than our originally scheduled flight. Hopefully this will be our last trip with JetStar.

We went through airport security, and found a place to eat lunch before our flight. Cappuccinos and Banh Mi hit the spot!

We arrived in Hoi An in the late afternoon, and checked in to our beautiful hotel, Greentea Homestay. For the two nights that we stayed here, I am pretty certain we were the only guests. The place was so peaceful, set among trees and just off the main road that led to the Old Town. Our room was massive! We payed just under 30$CAD a night, which included breakfast! Would totally recommend Green Tea Homestay.

After checking in, we decided to walk into town, which took about 15 minutes. The sun was just beginning to set, and we immediately fell in love with Hoi An!

We enjoyed two dinners that night, after not being able to decide where to eat! Our favourite activity in Hoi An was patio hopping around town, stopping every few blocks to eat and have a beer!
